About a good school
A good school is one that does not impose discriminatory conditions for admission; it receives all kids, the majority of whom graduate in due time and manner. A good school is one that not only transmits information but also teaches socially meaningful competences and knowledge, such as learning how to think, to keep learning throughout life; one that fosters values and the capacity to live together.
Silvina Gvirtz
About a caring culture
We believed ─believe─ that in order not to be mute one has to begin by not being deaf, and that the starting point of a caring culture is in the mouths of those who make culture without knowing they are making it.
Eduardo Galeano
About individual commitment
I plead in my daily life, in my family, in my work, in my community, in my country, in my region, to respect all lives, reject violence, liberate my generosity, listen in order to understand one another, preserve the planet, and reinvent solidarity.
