There are several developments worth sharing with our readers.
(i) Besides the activities in Bolivia, Chile, Ecuador and Peru, we now launched a new local developmen and inclusive venture support initiative intended for Argentine counties and provinces. Although the initial focus was placed on the cities of Lujan and San Fernando del Valle de Catamarca, we are now working on a program addressed to a group of municipalities in the area of influence of the District of Rio Cuarto, in the Province of Córdoba. This two-fold action, seeking to develop strategic thinking while getting involved in specific local development processes, has enriched our analysis and increased the efficacy of interventions.
(ii) We have begun producing three to twelve minutes long videos about different local development and inclusive venture-related matters. All this audiovisual material is available only in Spanish from the Multimedia Section in Opinion Sur’s website. As videos become available, they are advertised in the News column.
(iii) Opinión Sur Joven (Youth) has launched a very interesting communicational support program intended for young people, called Voices no echoes (Voces no ecos)
(iv) We have resumed with renewed enthusiasm activities in the Opinion Sur blog called Un país para todos
This issue of Opinión Sur features articles about the tyranny of financial markets, a strategy for growing and distributing at the same time, and the relations that links becoming preoccupied, understanding and transforming. We hope you find them interesting.
